• In South-East Asia, influenza detections decreased a little. Influenza A(H3N2) was predominant, with some
influenza B (Victoria lineage where determined) and influenza A(H1N1)pdm09 detections also reported. Lao
People’s Democratic Republic (PDR) and Thailand reported increasing detections of influenza A(H3N2) and
influenza B (Victoria lineage where determined), while Malaysia and the Philippines reported decreasing
detections of the same viruses. Singapore reported several influenza A(H3N2) detections and a single
influenza A (H1N1)pdm09 detection.
